Kenneth Gangnes setter prikken over i'en med et fantastisk siste hopp på 219 meter og sikrer Norge gull i laghopp.

BAD MITTERNDORF, Austria (AP) — Norway's four jumpers put together balanced performances in tricky wind conditions to win the team gold medal at the ski flying world championship on Sunday.

Kenneth Gangnes had an effort of 219.5 meters in the final of two heats to secure the victory. Severin Freund's final jump of 218.5 meters gave Germany the silver, after Austria's two middle jumpers suffered in the wind. Michael Hayboeck's final jump of 216 meters left Austria in third.

Individual champion Peter Prevc soared 238 meters for the longest effort of the day but it was only good enough to give Slovenia fourth place.

The wind changed direction repeatedly to make conditions even more treacherous than the falling snow.
